Hi every one
My live lectures in LA will start in April and I won't have any time to read the books or watch the dvds. I'm planning to go for the match this year. What do you think?? should I go to the lectures or should I skip them and just watch the DVDS??? Kaplan won't pay me back the money any how.

HI,,I think you should go,,,I heard they have new material for 2008 and its good,,,and you can review your books and do Qs at the same time,,why not,,you paid Right????
are your DVDs the new 2008 ones??? if not surely go LIVE ,besides you have more than 2 weaks to study and watch your DVDs,,,you can finish internal medicine which is the biggest and most asked in the exam,so it will be easy for you when you go live....

guys thanks a lot for your quick answere. I've the old dvds at home but we started with the new 2008 dvds at the centre. You can only watch them online and can't watch more than 3 hours a day...all the material is 180 hours so it'll take you a very long time to watch them all. The new books are out too. Much tickher than the old ones.

I am doing Step 3 center prep but I just had a glimpse of the step 2 new stuff. It is amazing. I definitely advise you to spend money and join kaplan for step 2 CK - if not atleast read 2008 notes. medicine is everchanging - best test, best treatment etc. should be recent.
For step 1 i know basic sciences don't change much.
I did step 2 CK on my own but scored low.

Best is center DVD then live lecture combo , so do as much Int Med DVD then go for live .
Also add on OG dvd at center if have time after int med .
Then rest of dvd for rests of subj do it with old dvd just to familial with b4 the live .
Then after live back to center to watch rest of dvd , that will b fast since live is similar but more than DVD .
