if your documents are sent, then they have received your application. If all your other documents (sent by your medical school) have reached the board, then they will send you your PTAL after around 8 weeks. You could phone them to check your status after 8 weeks; they won't respond to your request prior to this time. I've been through this before, all I can say is be patient!

only fingerprint is left..which i wl do after reaching usa...so they wnt update anythng till then?

I heard the fingerprinting is the most lengthening process; it's usually the reason for the delay, so you should have it done ASAP.
