hi,
i am an img and have cleared my step 1 recently. can anybody tell me what is the latest i can take step 2 to be eligible for the 2004 match.
i am looking for a realistic view for getting interview calls, not just a technical eligibility for the match.
also what is a reasonable time frame for preparation for step 2?

Hi, I´m an IMG too, and as far as I know, you have to be done with everything by january 31 that is the last day to take CSA, to ensure that results will be reported to the NRMP in time to participate in the Match.

And about getting interviews, Program directors usually start their initial
selection process in October/November. If you apply at that time, you should (ideally) be certified. Otherwise you are asking them to risk that you may not pass all exams and be certified in time for July 1.
