Hi all Seniors,
Please help me with this.
I am an IMG, here are my credentials- step 1-88, 2-80, CS-pass.
But, I cleared with CK on 2nd attempt and tht too with such a low score 
Is there any chance to get into a residency in 2009 Match? Which all branches should I apply for in next year's match?
Please reply in detail if possible. I am a bit depressed by my scores.

Go for the match, but I will be honest. Your 2nd attempt in step2 will bother u more than the low score. Take step3, it is always a good thing to do, if you do better in it, than it can somewhat compensate for your step2. Best would be to come over to US, join a research or observership, anything you can get......basic point is to get hold of a faculty, or some1 influential, work with them, they will help you alot. Do not be depressed of your score, you did pretty well, 88 in step1 is pretty good, but u have to accept the fact that you are an IMG and you will have to prove urself, try to come here asap. And get rolling, you will be fine.
