I didn't type my experience yet, i'm waiting for my score so that it will be informed .. but these r general advices ..

1st of all my exam was totally Pathology + Anatomy specially NeuroAnatomy .. weiered qs nothing i solved is like the ones i got in anatomy .. I think it is kinda like the ones of Kaplan Q-bank whcih r the hardest of all the q-bank .. now i think u gotta redo them and learn from them, coz they ask about the actions of the muscles, the innervations of parts supplied by a branch of the big nerve that u know ... know the shape of the vertebrae, the spinal cord sections, the brain stem ventral photo ( the one where all the CN exits, there is a Q like that in NBME and i got it on the exam and when i checked today the photo is actually in the Kaplan notes but overlooked ) ... photos are so important as they don't give u any clue on the q .. my friends b4 my test told me that i most probably won't need to look at the photo or may just look for confirmation, like looking for Aeur rods or something, this is not true in my test, they just say this is a photomicrograph of a ptient then ask u on it ... a friend after the test told me that Kaplan videos 2007 edition, the guy of pathology made a whole lecture for the slides, u gotta watch it by any mean ..

2nd ... Audio q, i got only one and the weired thing it was the last q in the last block of the exam .. this happened with all the examinee in that day .. I think it is a trend or something, so i highly recommend that if u reached the last block and u didn't get an Audio q yet, then u go to q 48 1st and do it then start from 1 again, coz it will consume a lil longer time, actually i knew the murmur but i couldn't choose, i ran out of time, well i ran out of time in almost 5 out of 7 blocks and in the 2nd one i missed whole 4 qs ... i choosed them all C ...

3rd ... UW is the best, just do it again and again and again till u digest it, it will let u master this test beleive me, the qs are quite similar ...

4th ... weired qs i got actually was the 1st q on the test and then repeated another one in the middle of the test .. it was about delta G ... where they give u 2 equations then mix them and the resulting equation they ask u about the delt G and the direction of the reaction ... and other one the choices was different mixes and asking which is a spontaneous reaction, 1st time to c this type of qs ...

5th ... Immunology, gentics and Ethics & Dr. patient relationship .. more than pharma, physio, micro, bio and molecular can u imagine ... in immunology plz memorize the cytokines and their actions from the tables at the end of kaplan notes of immunology , i didn't do them and i regret it .. coz they ask u what caused pain & fever .. I know IL-1 for ex. but i couldn't c it in the choices, so i had to choose an alternative and i had to guess ...

6th .. got a lot of CT scans, photos were actually more important than qs on my test, they even got me a 3 photos for 1 case of breast mass in elderly they gave me the gross, LM and EM of it and i had to choose the type based on the photos ... extremly important issues, i hoped that someone could have told me that, would have made a lot of difference in my test ...

that's all i can say till now .. i'll keep u posted of anything i remember to stress on
