ok todays target is doing 4 blocks...review them and read FA
i seem to have got attension deficit hyperactive disorder.  ..i am just not able to sit continuously and study...
ok get back to u after i am done with 1 block thats in about 2.5 hours...i got to have some coffee

Hi tia,
You are doing very good...
can i ask you if you are doing these blocks for the 1st time or not? I mean you are very fast in covering one block...2.5hrs ...are these UW's? pls tell me how you review the explanations...they are taking me hours...even for those that i got the answers right ...

thank u for dropping by well buddy there were times when i did only 40 q the whole day...u'll surely improve ur speed for me now at times i solve and review a block in 1 hour....these days i am having adhd so taking 2.5 hours...so u will get a grip slowly initially when i came to the forum i had the same concern but u will get over and some q which i get wrong will be which i know the rest i just read 2 or 3 times from my laptop i dont rite anything.....so that makes review faster....when i make a mistake i learn it properly and also keep recollecting in the whole day....so dont worry...u'll be fine good luck

oh god i am missing all my friends badly no one to keep an eye on me mezooooo wer r u???????..
i am wasting a lot of time at home ......i came home after long time so friends keep dropping back....phone...going out....god got to cut down all these and be focussed
hmmmm i think i am relaxing a lot not happening bad tia.....bad gal.....
from this minute i shall try to cut down my friends ....god i just have tooooooooo manyyy close friends and i just dont realise time when i am with them..
and half of my times goes away.......thinking oh i should not have done ....i beter go back to my grany's house........or be very strict to myself...........

Good morning tia,
just starting my Day, it is 9:30 am here ... gotta finish Goljan today, left with last 3 chapters then gotta look at the goljan slides, it is taking me forever to finish it .. since i postponed my test i spet a week doing 4 froms of NBME, then 10 days to listen to goljan lectures then 2 weeks to actually study the notes, so bored, wasting lots of time, hate 1st time reading a new source ... although all the info r not new, but just new books whatever they r takes me that long 
Now, all my friends keep telling me to use FA which i can't for the same reason, i mark my books a lot, makes a lot of marginal notes, Mnemonics, sometimes summaries and tables, i can't leave all that to review FA .. i just can't, while i feel it is a must, but i don't know what to do ??? any suggestion ???
Another thing that is bothering me ... I did UW and finished with a total score of 48% which is very low & was the main reason that forced me to postpone my test ... i extended my subscription to do the wrong qs, bu i did only 4 blocks of pathology wrong qs .. now it is over 2 weeks with no qs done, i don't like that, i'm thinking to subscribe again to UW, but not able to decide, should i subscribe now, so i do a block at the end of the day, or wait till i finish this review then do it all in a week or so ??? what do u think about that ???
Don't go back to grany plzzzzzzzz, stay with us, u can't find us there, ur friends just gonna take a phase then back to normal and as u said it was sunday, everyone is off  ... keep it up

yup goljan takes a loooooooottttttttt of time but its worth reading it very high yield so complete it first dont break that
and i thought of starting FA but did not start it i heard it like a must to read...it give u quick overview...so try to read daily a liitle along with goljan...so the later u wont feel the book is new
what about medessentials u said u will be reading that?
and about uw its beter u take it after u are done with goljan and watevr other subject u wanna read...give ur full time to uw....did u revise uw???if u dint do it....do it all over wont take much time just read twice..dont think u wont remember it reaaly gets stored in ur brain...dont worry work hard read goljan well every line is importnt

Thanks a lot for ur answer ...
the same problem with FA is with Medessentials ,, i don't like new things, although this book has some gr8 tables and charts, Metablism is just in 10 papers ... Fungal & parasitic pathogens are put in tables, that are more than gr8, just read those from there ... also has a table for brain tumors that is absolutely fabulous ... some other tables for antibiotics & chemotherapeutics that are also gr8, also, histology is just in 4 pages which is just the required to know ... i study these topics only from it ... rest from Kaplan, but i'll try ur way of reading few pages every day from FA .. hope it works ... 
what did u mean by reviewing UW ??? i just do like u do now, finish the block then review its explanations immediately after, 2.5 hrs exactly like u .... in the beginning i was taking notes, but it consumed alot of time over 5 hrs and turned out to be not that effective, better to study it that way and re-do the qs again, and may be just add some points to ur books, this is the best approach from my point of view ....
I don't like to be that far from qs and also i get bored, qs break this Vicious circle, also, i will be doing 25-50 qs every day ... for ex. if i finished pathology, then i do 25 qs on it,after 2 days done with another branch then 25 q will be on both and so on, till i get done with all, then random on all subjects, and finish all the rest in a week or so ... i feel more comfortable with this plan ... but u might something better, or something not good with it, so, what do u think of it ????
and how is ur studying ??? what did u do today ?? till now i finished 2 chapters, left with the last one CNS ... hope to get done with it b4 lunch

i just started FA today its a great book when i opend it 2 months back i hated it but its really a good one very quick review do read it
and doing q daily is good keep going....
me did not study much couple of days....i am getting very tensed became vey sleepless..

I'm lucky to have u as a friend, Thanks God for that ( ALHAMDULELLAH ) ... u r so sweet ... U r the only friend that i left with, all my close friends left me for the states and contact with them is not that easy, because all of them are busy and time differences makes it more difficult .. What version of FA r u using ??? i've 2005 and 2007 ... 2005 subject wise while 2007 is system wise ... i don't c much difference in the actual topics, so, do u recommend to read after kaplan so i use 2005 or just give it an hour everyday unrelated to kaplan and use 2007 ??
about UW, u didn't tell me what do u think ?? look, i remembered that i didn't do Q-book yet, i think i should do it now with my kaplan review, then after finishing this phase will subscribe again for UW ISA .. how is that ???
What is ur plan for today ??? or u gonna spend it in the emotional sea shore ??
