I suppose that you could say Boorhaeve's syndrome (esophageal rupture with pneumomediastinum), but I would also count alkalosis and possible arrythmias if bulemic.

The real MCC is iatrogenic, from endoscopy, but I am afraid that all the books say it is too much vomiting/retching from alcoholism. Curious to se the real stats.
