if u dont have any frnd or relative then book some hotel to the place u plan to go....no necessarily means that u must pay hotel but u can block some hotel without paying them...google it... u'll find lots of stuff ragrding hotels...

ur bro is working uk then show vo that he is working there , his appointment letter , salary slip, n if he his paying tax in uk then it letter...

ur parents must be paying Income tax, show them they pay these much tax n write n affidavit of support from u parents n bro(who r sponsoring u)

its good that ur doing some paid job here....show them that ur working here n u earn these much...n yeah take a letter from ur employer and recent salary slip...

u can find other doc n other stuff from immihelp.com

@ paheli

thanks for ur words..

for my case, as u read my exp u must read that they asked me a lot regarding my job n salary n kind of work i do as MO... so it was my strong point as most of the point was against me like age, marital status, never traveled outside my home country...

point which helped me get visa were my job, ecfmg visa letter, my s1 n ck score

but actually speaking visa IV depends purely on luck as they didnt asked me regarding my sponsor n sponsorship documents, even my degree certificate....

bottom line is that to have or not to have employrment letter depends on ur luck... if he asks for ur job then it may go against u or if he doesnt ask then its better for u...wink wink

  #12

Thanks so much for your quick reply, bax.

It's amazing how many crucially important things in life depend on luck!! Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed then.

@ paheli

ur most welcome...

gl for visa IV....

if u need any other help ask me..

@ RX 135

sorry to make u write such things here...u can email me to officefile58@yahoo.com
i am not getting ur q exactly....ansing wht i understand abt ur query... if something missing pl point it out...

ur bro is only sponsor, rt?
then show his annual income, his salary slip, n if he pays income tax in UK(if yes then only)
funds sh'd be sufficient enough (min US$5000). show them that ur bro earns enough to carry all expenses including his, ur n ur mom's... but recently vo doesnt go in in details of balance... but i'll advise u to have enployement letter (if possible) for u...that may help during IV..

feel free to ask me anything...i'll reply to best of my knowledge...

Hi I am new here and needed some help with visa issues.
I have cleared my Step 1 with a 99 and am scheduled to take the step2 exam on april 23.

I have scheduled my CS for june 25. I also have 2 observerships in US: one between may 15 to june 15. the other is from july 1 to july 31. both colleges have sent in a letter stating that I have been offered the observership.

My questions are:
1. Can i go for the B1/B2 ivisa interview without the step 2 score?
2. During the interview should I mention about the observerships and show them the letters from the colleges?
3. Anything else that can improve my chances in the Visa interview?
4. One more problem is that I have been working for past few months but have now left the job. So currently I am unemployed...
Kindly help and Thank you

- only mention when asked, only show them when asked
3. Anything else that can improve my chances in the Visa interview?
- just be truthful
4. One more problem is that I have been working for past few months but have now left the job. So currently I am unemployed...
- no problem, just tell them the truth. they already know that.
Kindly help and Thank you

good luck

Thank you Treblechar,

Will let you know when my visa interview is done.

@prusiner: Good luck and congratulation on Observeship.

I just ask you one question: Did you get Observeships via close contact personally or just email to hospitals? I have emailed many times to many hospitals but no one replied at all.

Best
