It seems soooo touch for an old IMG in the race for the match , especially for a very old img like me( almost 13 years since the graduate year). I now just sit for the USMLE coupble months . Anyway to improve the chance besides good scores ? Getting clinical experiences in the US is almost imposible ( observership dost not count and clership, intership,rotation... just for fresman ) How about refresh MD degree or studing PA or nursing?. In short ,how , anyway to make an old IMG more update? Anyone in the same boat has an expericens about that ? Please share , many thanx

match09.Not to discourage you,it is going to be tough.Scores are at the top.Aim for 99s.NO ATTEMPTS.Find a reference. You are still young compared to me.So forget that part.Good luck.

don't waist your time on nursing, PA or anything of that sort. if you are in the US, there is a doctor in your area (private Internist, or Peds, or anything you want) who came from your country.... go there and say "I need observership and your help".... it will not cost you a thing, but it will bring you the opportunity to say later "i am familiar with american medicine" and definitely will give you LOR.... and definitely it's better then nothing good luck
