i thought that i knew about them, but i am totally confused now

it seems that only half part of the brain has the motor homunculus, the other half part has the sensory homunculus. am i correct?

look at this page's pics

http://calder.med.miami.edu/pointis/tbiprov/NURSI...

look at this one

http://www.cs.uta.fi/~jh/homunculus.html

it says:"Body on the left side is the motor homunculus"

and which part is which? i can't seem to find a good site to confirm it

someone help, thanks

ok i will try to explain for u

we have frontal lobe & parietal lobe remember?

the frontal controls motor

parietal controls sensory

each hemisphere has fronatal & parietal which controls the contralateral side of the body so in each hemisphere we have sensory homonoculus i\n parital & motor homonoculus in frontal in both hemispheres each control the contralateral side

got it ?
