1 what is the empirical treetment of prosthetic valve endocarditis in pencillin allergic patient.?
2 what is prophalaxis for prostate surgery in pencillin allergic patient without prior history of endocarditis?

e clindamycin 20 mg + vancomycin

as for the endocarditis question and allergy to pen i would give clinda and azithro

also poss is 1st gen ceph and clarithromycin

empiracal treatment for native valve --naficilin or oxacillin50 mg iv+gentamicin1.0 mg/kg iv every 8 hrs
empiracal treatment for prosthetic valve is -vancomycin 15mg/kg+gentamicin1.0 mg/kg+rifampin 600mg
prophalaxis for dental or minor GIor GU without prior history of endocarditis ampicilin 50 mg /kg.if its penicillin allergic then clindamicin20mg/kg or azithromycin 15mg /kg or clarthomycin 15mg /kgor cephalexin or cefadroxil
prophalaxis for major GI or GU without prior history of prior history of endocardits---ampicillin 50 mg /kg
if pt is pencillin allergic then use vancomycin 20 mg /kg IV
