Heelloo dear Friends

I would like to thank everybody around refresh this site with his/her posts

I had an unsuccessfull match , without any interview since i wasnt certified and low scores

First of March i will be certified, i had 81 step1 . passed CS first attempt, waiting my CK scores within 2 weeks, expect 90s with God weeling.

Im hesitating to apply for the scramble, since im not well understanding the whole process, im asking if i will have a chance to apply for categ. IM programs within 18th march day.

I need to know, shall i send through faxes or call PD, or it is enough to apply through ERAS since they had all my documents, and i had applied before .

im out USA, no USCE, but many work experiences and training courses in Toronto and good recommendation letters, does it worth to apply ???

thank you for gueding me

best wishes for all

The thing is it doesn't hurt to try.
So, if you get your CK score on 1st March which is not possible as scores come on wednesday (3rd march) , you'll have your ECFMG certificate in 7-8 days. Now you have plenty of time to prepare for post-match. I am hoping that you have applied to atleast one program through ERAS and registered with NRMP (a requirement for post-match).
Here's what you should do:
1-Gather all your documents, if you don't have extra copies of MSPE or LORS , apply for RODs on oasis.
2-ERAS gives you opportunity to apply for 30 programs for post-match free of cost.Do that.
3-Scan your documents (MSPE,Dean's letter, LORs,ECFMG certificate, CV, CAF,Picture,Score reports), make a single pdf file. (You can download primopdf for free)
4-Subscribe for e-fax or if you have a line , you can send fax from your computer . Windows XP has built in fax software (if you need help, just google). Fax machine is always an option.
5-On 18th march, NRMP publishes unfilled programs list ,ask someone like any friend or relative to e-mail/fax on your behalf and you just start calling programs.
May be you get lucky!!
