I have heard that the inhouse fellowships in cardiology go to AMGs instead of IMGs and also they dont sponsor visas for fellowships either J1 or H1..

i checked their website and it does also mentions that they dont accept any visas.

So that explains everything. That bad since getting an outside fellowship in cardio is extremely difficult esp with growng competition each year..

I will rank it low if thats true.

anybody has any inputs or have heard anything different.

I have heard they do sponsor visa for gi , dont know abt cards.

When I spoke to one of their residents during the tour he said they sponsor visas but didn't mention about particular sub specialities. But its implied that if there is an AMG applying for fellowship he is given preference unless u r an extremely good candidate.
