if i read for klarkship from kumar clinical medicine would it be useful for step2 cos it has a lot of well information

Sincerely i never liked that book.......for the steps the best way to study is to get review books that u know u can finish......
and then you have to get some MCQ books.....that include a whole range of lists of them ...ex..
Kaplan Q book
Kaplan Q Bank
Exammaster
Clinical Vignettes
NMS
Harrison's Pre-test
Cecil Review
Trust me ...if u can be getting the right review books ...... the whole load is on the MCQ's
Just add the extra information in the MCQs to ur review books plus make sure you know how they present you with cases....You will be set for a score in the 90s
But those big books and esp Kumar....anything British....or Davidson are just theory that won't apply for the exam

thanx 4 replying ,,, Any way i have now blueprint in medicine but i feel that theres lack of informations on this book i mean doctors must have a full knowledge cos knowledge is a power
but those books (review) are concise ,,,,,

I am not saying that Blueprint Medicine is a good choice.....
Blueprint Psychiatry and Ob& Gyn are the best......
If you are not planning to take the step 2 anytime soon...
then my advice is to study the best way you want....use the best books and get used to them so that you wd know which book is good in what.,....
Try to gain as much information as you can
I graduated from Med school and I know a lot of information about Medicine..etc....
And now when i am reviewing I know a lot ....but i am learining to organize the inforamtion.......
cuz muh of the inforamtion is not organized and that isn't good for the step 2
Knowledge is power...trust me get ur review books ....or even ur own notes.......from med school......and start studying them ....... and answer MCQ's u'll be surprised at how good u are....
