dead man has a driving licence which shows his written wish to donate organs...family disagrees..what to do? respect the family's wishes or contact the organ donation team?

If it's on the license it's under the Revised Anatomical Gift Act and under Section 8 [ i aren't sure] donor'd wishes are granted superiority over surviving family members' wishes. I think contacting organ transplant team would be fair.

I think we have to respect the family's wishes.

"Although an organ donor card gives an indication of a patient's wishes for donation, family's consent is still necessary for donation. Family objection can overrule the organ donor card"---C. Fisher's 'USMLE Medical Ethics'[2006]
