I'm a IMG who graduated in 2005. I have cleared my step 1 and step 2 CK with average scores. I took my CS January 8 and the results won't be out till March 26. I am a US citizen. I don't have any US clinical expericence yet. But I am joining a research project at UCI californa in one or two weeks. I am also going to start an observership under a private practice doctor in one or two weeks.
The problem is that i wanted a residency this July 08. I have already wasted so much time that I didn't want to wait one more year. However, my CS scores won't be in till after post-match. This reduces my chances in post-match to less than 10%.
Is there any other way of getting a residency this July outside the ERAS? I wanted to know if there is any hope? What is the best this to do in my situation??

Hi pripri.You are in a country where everything is possible.People do match outside of the mess that is eras.Connections can get you anywhere.
