Hello everyone,
I would really like to know your opinion about that.
An advanced Neurology program is my first choice; however, if I happen to match with them there is a 50% chance that I will have to find a preliminary position during the scramble.
Now, I do not know what I should do. The rest of my choices are categorical but for some reasons I would like to have this advance program as my first choice. The PD mentioned that he will support me in finding a preliminary if need be, but I am still feeling a bit uncomfortable.
I am an IMG and need visa…
What should I do?

All depends on how much heart you have. but if the PD helps you, its a different scenario then. i have a similar situation and i decided otherwise.
