Hi I have MKSAP14 meant for IM boards, The questions are multiple and really off the track(sometimes I feel). Can somebody tell me is it recommended to do them??? I am doing Kaplan Q bank and UW questions and they are quite overwhelming. so please tell me do I need to sweat to do MKSAP????

I think the MKSAP questions (for internal medicine residency that is) are a tad bid too advanced for the general types of questions you'll encounter in Step 3. You'll be better off I think reviewing general primary care oriented stuff (adult, geriatrics, peds, ob/gyn, psych, surgical referrals, derm, optho) than going to far in depth into the MKSAP.

i read MKSAP (in addition to other material) and took my step 3 recently. My score is awaited. i found that MKSAP was not very useful but still may be worth a reading because a few key points which were tested were covered in MKSAP. I'd advice u read it if u have the time. It wont be a waste of time.
