I know this sound extre,ly stupid question. So you have been warn

But for interview reasons and match process, does it matter if who gave you the letter of recomendation has a high rank?
Meaning is the same that and attending give you a good letter of recomendation, compare to that the director of ophtalmology or the director of Gastroenterology give you the letter of recomendation?

Do the PD actually read those letters?
I think they do not, only if they are between 2 candidates, but this is me.
Who will have time to read 300 Personal statement and x3 letters of recomendation.

That is something bbb ANSWER a long time ago.
You read it and you might be happy with what it says but it has a code of saying like this guy sucks Im just writting this to be nice and stuff like that and you think they just gave you the best LOR ever.
