Hi I'm on a h4 Visa . Can i do an Observership/externship on this Visa.If i cant then what should i do next. Can i change my visa status to a B1 maybe with the observership appointment letter in hand? And also please help me out on this.I'm in Minnesota. I do know of Mayo clinic offering clinical electives for 350USD. Can anyone tell me if there are other hospitals/clinics at Minnesota offering for a lower cost .Please help. Thanks a lot.

truedoc, the $350 fee is on the elective clerkships for international students. I'm not sure if they do offer externships for graduatee. check their web site or call them it's better. plus , it's hard to find a good place offering an elective or clerkship for international studen/graduatee with such price. other places are much more expensive. Think about it!

Does anyone have any idea whether Mayo clinic will refund the application fee of 350USD if in case they do not accept our application for observership. Eagerly awaiting reply.Thank you.
