obesity increases risk of gall stones formation by increasing cholesterol and by producing stasis!! HOW OBESITY CAUSES STASIS?

  #2

Due to increase in estrogen and progesterone in obese person ( remember that more adipose tissue ......more aromatase .......Increase formation of estrogen from testosterone) . UW explains that both hormone contribute to gallstone formation. Estrogen increases cholesterol elimination and Progesterone parcticipate in stasis of this cholesrol.

interesting........i never knew that increased cholestrol can affect spontaneous action potential........one more question........does that only happen in gall bladder or anywhere as well in the body?????

Increase adipose tissue = increase aromatase activity. So increase production of estrogen wich cause cholestasis by decreasing the secretion of bile out of the ducts.
