hey everybody!
talking abt GA......i love all the characters....i mean all of them are so different and that makes it interesting...isnt it?
but Mark sloan is my personal favourite ..n i love Ezzy steven's character....i dont know why they make such a fuss of her emotions.....we all have emotions....and we just need to balance everything.....isnt it possible to be an emotional doctor?huh

I am going to book my tickets to the US in 24 hours. Any advice as to the airline and whether I should book oneway or return tickets ?
...And yea how do I fit everything in just 23 kg? All airlines are saying only 23 kg for all bookings made after 5th May.

motorola, i would get the cheapest except air india...
and u mean 2 bags 23 each right?? wat is wrong with those people...i even heard they have started charging 25$ per bag within limits for all travel...!!! a friend of mine recently got married and u know when u get married and come here to settle, its so much excess baggage so they came via longer route to US through pacific side stopping in one of the oriental countries and they took 30 hrs to reach but were allowed 32-35 kg 2 bags i think...so u gotta check out that option. they picked this only coz it allows greater limit for baggage..
p.s.: that friend went to california...so the west coast...u gotta check how much time u'll take depending upon where u wanna get off.

i heard a lot about etihaad airways, that its cheap n its service is good....specially the delhi-abudhabi- NY route...any idea?

Etihad allows only 23 kg. it is the cheapest at present. Might be ur best option if u r going for CS and dont have too much luggage. they will allow 9 kg extra for 50$.
Delta and Continental allow 23 kg X 2 bags. they are both are about 150-200$ costiler than etihaad.

i dunno how i missed this thread for so long..! Its great to see you all you guys here..
I recently came back from US. I travelled with American Airlines. New Delhi - Chicago - Alabama. They have good service. They allow 2 bags of 50lbs (23kg) for check in and two hand bags (upto 40 lbs) I guess its more than enough for most. Cost me about $1300.

lufthansa allowing 20 kg 2 pieces...had booked earlier for 35000 Rs but now will have to rebook again given that i have no news of visa and consulate IV dates are vanishing...
40 k will be ok for me i guess...unless mom starts insisting on cooker and all that...sorry for this weird ques..but how many ppl actually do take that cooker...so many seniors insist i should...never cooked in my life!!
