Appan na ekdum fan tha Vidya Balan ka. Par abhi sala, time nai milta picture dekhne ka. (I was a big fan of Ms Balan. But now brother-in-law, I dont have time to see movies).

hey guys i m back......
back to this thread / back to india after the CS debacle.
As 1 sept nears, i see everybody (except me) getting LORs/PS n searching for programs. but i dont feel like doing anything . Is it necessary to apply in 1 sept? what if i apply on 5 sept?what difference does it make? motorola bhai could help me....

Oye, do not bring up movies. Do NOT bring up movies, ok!!! Sensitive topic hai apna.
When I was practicing on my best friend for CS, the Sex and the Sity movie got released in India, and she was like, 'Finish the abdominal touch-feely soon, I gotta get dressed and hit the cinema.' The next day during practice, of course, yours truly had to listen to the raves, until she felt bad and stopped. I still haven't watched it, and I've given up hope also.
This past weekend, my bro went to watch The Dark Knight, and of course, yours truly stayed back and worked on her PS. Same story. Being crazy busy right now, I don't think I'll be able to watch this one either. And to think I love Heath Ledger, bless his soul. 
Welcome back, lakshya. Did not know you had traveled. You in India right now? What do you mean CS debacle? Kya hua? [what happened? I HATE these translations we have to keep providing!] I don't really think a few days will have a huge impact on your apps. Of course, if you're planning on sending your to ECFMG like in Oct, then you should think twice.

hey paheli,
i took CS a couple of weeks back. i messed up big time, no surprise. waiting for the results. yah i am back home after one month. need to get LORs (all indian) and send them. i read ur thread on match support forum. really helpful. you mentioned that ur USCE is gonna start in sept. we are in a similar situation then coz i got USCE starting in sept too. and who knows it might fetch me a USLOR. so can we upload that new LOR in our ERAS and reassign the new LOR to the programs by replacing one of the pre-assigned LORs? i guess i should ask the same q in ur thread in the match support.......
talking abt movies i saw "hancock", people found it so funny, i dint. may be i got poor sense of humour. i saw "21" in the plane, liked it !

Your qn on USLoR is a good one. I guess we can only reassign for those progs that have not yet d/l your app. If you've asked in the Support forum thread, then I hope we get some good answers.

I think applying on 1st or 5th doesnt really make a difference.

But lakshya If I had everything else in place, I wouldnt wait till the 5th just because I dont 'feel like'.
It is like having a gun and bullets ready with the lakshya (target) right in front of you and feeling too lazy to load!!!
It is always difficult to start but it gets over before you realize. Good luck.

Thanks, gauri. I remember I was exactly like you last year. I hung around the Match forum a whole year before my time, and made many friends, got loads of info about progs. It's very helpful.
