i have also taken nbme 1 , but please lets not discuss those q's here na , there will be some other people who haven't taken it . don't get me wrong please , you can post the q in another forum titled nbme-1 q and leave a link for that post here , that will be helpful , and not alter others' predictive scores also

still uworld and second read left
it is too much of a challenge to do all that till then
its ok
i like challenges
they bring out the best in me
the last resort would be to postpone
anyone knows how and when we should extend the eligibility period?

het step99,i will surely take it before your exam.. am thinking of doing the online one on 16th or 17th .. and the downloaded ones probably even earlier... but after 11th coz i have UW until then and will rather revise it..how's your prep going.here is my update.
i finished FA once... its such a big relief.... and you know i timed myself...so that i will know how much time i should keep at the end for FA...... it took my 19and half hours to do it once..... color plates and rapid review still pending but that is okay...
i had big plans for today but have done only FA from the today's big list..
hmm what do do next there's a lot on my mind and only few hours to all of it... maybe i'l read one of my Goljan backlog chapters....
well let me confess that i still am left with around 9 chapters of pathology untouched... well it was another thing if i was only supplemnting it to kaplan but i haven't read that either..... i had got so fed up of reading that i jumped to take UW thinking that i'l do it along with UW.... but it never happenend....  untill now.... so now i have decided to atleast finish my backlog along with the UW so that after the UW i am not stuck up doing it.... and can move on eith the second read.. and i was too embarassed to even write it here.... well now i told you all what a fool i am..... i hope i'm able to cover it in time...

If u hava valid Form 186 in your ecfmg account, then extending the slot of 3 months to the next immediae 3 months is just an online request process where in u pay 50 dollars and ur done.
But in case u didnt send form 186 and ecfmg didnt yet get ur degree verified by your medical school, then u need to do all the following with a form called Form 183 E which u get once u fill the extension application for step 1. Download ,print, get it attested either by principal/notary and send to the appropriate address . Within 2 weeks u will get an email that its accepted and within next 4 days u will get email that u can now book ur date .
So instead of the 3 month slot dates that we generally see in prometric site when we try to reschedule dates, we see the next 3 month dates also....
You can do all this even by keeping ur current exam appointment...as deduced.

SOS first do online nbmes da to simmulate real exam experience and score report...
and take these online ones well before the exam....no point in writing online ones 1 week before exam etc..cos they ar epurely assessment tools and u dont achieve any othe rpurpose with those...but yeah i am told by many of my frends who took exam that qs do get repeated reasonably enough to do all 4 forms...either online or offline....NBME is a must...
Do downloaded ones when u think u dont want to do online ones anymore in the future.
my 2 cents...

and i did not know about goljan before that when i read kaplan pathology

kalyan,thanks for the advice regarding NBME... it makes sense... all of it... i will take the online form 2 first and maybe form 1 downloaded coz i had done one block couple of days back... but i'l save form 3 and 4... in case i want to take it online... i was going to take form 2 online 3 weeks before exam.. is that okay time?
milee i don't have the rapid review and can't start it now.... so am gonna stick to the same book.... no choice.... i suggest we shall finish our goljan backlog before its too late....
