ok finished my backlog today ... i used to do 200-250 q's at a stretch in the past to increase my stamina , and that left me with a backlog of q's to review .. badddddd strategy , since i had to go thru the q stem again while reviewing the q's , which would be like 1 week old by the time i reviewed them so today i did 30 frsh q's and reviwed them .. 2 hrs totally now to set my sleep cycle correct , m going to sleep

Hey milee and everyone. What work for me, was to just not sleep for 48 hrs. After 48 hrs you will want to sleep so bad, so that day go to bed at 9 pm. And that is how I solved the problem. Kind of like brute force. The next day you will sleep at the same time (9 pm) because of your sleep debt. Ok, good points I learned yesterday. 1. What cell has the receptor for PTH? 2. What is the messenger that activates the osteoclast? 3. What cancer gives you a paraneoplastic syndrome with excess resorption of bone? Now, these are all one step question. Lets do one more like the test, shall we? A male patient, 34 yo presents to your clinic with rapid shallow respiration (rate of 22 p min), BMI of 32, serum glucose 140. What drug caused this? a. gliburide b. inhaled insulin c. metformin d. acarbose e. pioglitazone and reflex question Lewy bodies--?? peace

According to Goljan, the receptor of PTH is in the osteoblasts. It then secretes IL-1 to give the "message" to the osteoclasts to start the resorption of bone. Cancer with PTH-related protein. Renal cell carcinoma, primary squamous cell carcinoma of the lung and breast carcinoma. Everything else is correct.

thenar muscle- this one is hard, since what I remember all are innervated by the median nerve. the only one that is not is the adductor pollicis but this one might not be considered a thenar muscle. skin over dorsal first web space- radial nerve? MS- HLA-DR2 hypersensitivity type III? nerve affected in post dislocation of ulna- Common peroneal nerve? clue cells- gardnerella tumbling motility- trichomonas (now, english is not my first language, would you care to explain difference between tumbling and jerky motility) falling motility- cant remember

adductor pollicis is right-deep branch of ulnar nerve i thought it is thenar muscle yeah radial nerve is right .. what about dorsal web space on foot ?? sorry i think i frame q's poorly MS- dr2, type IV hypersensitivity since specific t-lymphocytes can be seen against myelin basic protein in csf . posterior dislocation ulna -- ulnar nerve (common peroneal nerve - fibula) falling leaf motility - giardia donno abt ur jerky motility doubt i think it is same as falling leaf sorry for poor wording of q's i was very sleepy when i typed it

hey step .. how r u doimg ?? java , first dorsal web space of foot ( skin ) - deep peroneal nerve sos , so long as you meet your targets , its ok to sleep 10 hrs .. less than the amount of sleep you require will reduce productivity and retention . but if you are just being lazy , then you have to correct it. try splitting up your sleep . like 6 hrs in night and 2 hrs in afternoon .. or if you sleep because you get saturated , then you should take like 10 min break every hour

to sos, i had always problem getting up, last days before exam, i went to bed at latest 1 at night, and woke up when my husband leaves, 7.45 in the morning. so, if you have anyone in your house who get up that early, or leave house, you can tell them to wake you up, if you are close to exam. that way, you will reduce your sleeping hours.whole study period i slept 8 to 10 hours, what a waste, last week i didnt sleep more than 7 hours most days. in last days before exam,i tried to change my sleeping hours, and i wasted 2 hours in the morning in 2/3 days. Make a big mug of tea or coffee, and try to start at 8 am or so, then take another break at 10 am, have something. and make sure you dont sleep in between 8 am and 4 pm, if you are going to take exam in that period. after 4 or 5 pm, you can take a short nap like 30 min, with alarm or a nap of 1 hour, thats so refreshing, you feel another day started. hope it helps.

thanks milee and AD... unfortunately there is noone here to wake me up..i'm staying away from home.how i wish there was someone to wake me up but can't help it.i've to depend on the alarm...... which is quite faithful and punctual but i shut the poor thing off and sleep again.... perhaps nobody will believe me but my eyes just don't open until i've slept at least 9 hours... OMG.... i am trying hard to wake up at 8 or so each day..... it happens one in a blue moon and then i go back to sleeping till late... okay tomorrow i will try harder,to wake up when the alarm rings... did 100 questions today... got 70 and 72%. 475 more questions left and then i have to revise ..... its my time to sleep now... keep studying all of you.
