If you waived your right for LOR and that is stated on the LOR as requested by ERAS. If the doctor gave you the copy of the LOR.......can you use that copy of the LOR that has waived your right to view on it for Scramble, when faxing it to programs? Or would it look bad, that waived your right is on it? I know the doctor who gave me the LOR would not mind at all, that is why he gave me those copies....the problem is he is so busy that it would be hard to get him to reformat it and send it to me.

Did you post the LOR's your self or did the Professor post it to the ERAS?

you can post the LOR or the doctor can send it himself.....it doesn't matter, thats what ECFMG said, when I asked them.

I waived my right to view the LOR. The disadvantage with waiving to view LOR, is that you won't get it back from ERAS. All my LORS are from US docs....I did all my clinical rotations/last 2 years of medical school here. I don't think there is a disavantage of not waiving your right to view LOR...is there?? Maybe someone else can better answer that question.
