my credentials :- step 1 (77) 1st attempt step 2 CS pass 1st attempt step 2 CK pass (87) 2nd attempt Green card graduation year :- Dec 2002 did residency (dermat) from home country ( i know its not counted) 2 US LORs interested in family practice as dermat is next to impossible. can still get to see skin patients in family medicine. wat are my chances in getting residency for july2008 ???

For July 2008 - have you already applied to programs through ERAS? If you haven't then you'll have to participate in the scramble as the interview season is now over. I don't think anybody can tell you your chances of getting a spot to be honest. We're all here trying to get a position as well. It all depends on your CV, scores, USCE, the programs you apply to - prorgams have their own cutoffs for step scores, graduation etc. Good luck.

If i am understanding you correct, you have not applied yet. FM is not as competetive as other specailties. With GC on your Cv, your application certainly is not competing with people needing visas. Chances of match depend s on how u interview. Yous scores are reasonable if not the greatest. Give it ur best shot, Good Luck.

Hey thanks for the reply doc1981 and moozy. yeah u are rite i m late for application process as got my scores last week. trying for scramble this year. good luck
