Hi... I took my step 2 CK two and a half weeks ago. I know that not all exams are equal, but mine, had a lot, A LOT, of psych questions. I studied psych from "NMS psychiatry" and found it difficult to answer some of the questions. I didnīt get a lot of questions about the "major" syndromes. For instance, just 1 or 2 questions about MI, none (zip) questions about SLE, only 1 to 2 about IBD. Many many questions on pediatrics and Ob/Gyn. Anyways, my major trouble was not content review, but TIME! My God! times really flies during the exam. Question Stems are usually longer than in qbank, and there are more options; nevertheless, I think the situations presented are simpler. So in the few days you have left, youīd probably want to exercise your answering skills, that is, read fast, pick up the diagnosis as fast as you can (if the diagnosis is not given in the stem, of course), pay careful attention to what is asked and trust a lot in your guts when choosing your option. Youīll have no time for fancy reasoning. I scored around the 75-85 in qbank, alternating study with questions, but always answering before sneaking the book and sticking to the choice made, even if resulted in a red cross. Unfortunately, I still donīt have my results, so we wonīt be able to correlate my qbank score with my exam outcome. GOOD LUCK, MAN!!!!!

one quick note.... for those readers who have the time to use this advice: I was really sorry not to have found Harrisonīs 15th Edition's Self Assessment questionaire early on my preparations. That Q&A book really gets you into the subjects in a "problem solving" aproach. However, I would recomend it for your main internal medicine review. The last week before the exam would be just a little bit too late. If you are days away from the exam, you can use it for specific weak areas, though.
