hi,
I need your help regarding deciding between these five programs based on their reputation for Im. I have a preference for cardiology fellowship.
Indiana univ
univ of Louisville
univ of oklahoma
umdnj camden
Univ of connecticut
Suny downstate
Your help is greatly appreciated I am confused

Didn't you interview with these programs? What's your top choice? What place don't you want to go to?? Start from there and keep looking at your list.

Thanks for the input but I am having real difficulty deciding between Indiana, Univ of Oklahoma, Louisville. I have often looked at the list but its confusing.
Any other help is appreciated guys.

compare their fellowship matching rates, how many are going to fellowships on every program, how many go to cardiology, how's the cardiology department faculty .... that would give you a better idea...

Hi there,
I can only comment on UoI. I'm not actually applying to IM (I'm a peds applicant) but I have a close friend doing IM at Indy, and she's totally happy with her program. I do think, however, that you might end up getting an excellent training on several of your choices. The fellowship placement on many of those programs should be very good, maybe a closer look at the faculty, the cardiology staff, publications and such.

Thank you very much guys(preuba, cargue, moozy) for your feedback. Moozy, yes obviously it will depend on who will rank me high. I am now clear about Indiana. But U of L, Oklahoma, even SUNY Donstate is confusing. Anyways thanks very much guys and any more opinions are welcome.
