I m planning to sit for Step 3 in the end of August.
My CS result would only be available by August 3 the earliest.
If I apply step 3 after I got ECFMG certificate, can I get the date as early as end of August?
If not, what can be the approximate earliest date?
Please advice me how to make the process as quick as possible (if I m not able to change my CS date)

One thing at a time, young padwan. You got plenty of time. Plan for yuor CS first. It's not as easy as you might think.

Are your med school credentials verified already? If the answer is yes, and your last exam to take is the cs, then the minute you pass it your ECFMG certificate is being issued. Depending on where you live (US vs. anywhere else) it takes several days to 2 weeks until you receive it. Then you can apply for step 3, but please consider that it also takes a couple of weeks to get the scheduling permit in your hands, even when you apply online. So theoretically taking step 3 by the end of August is possible but be prepared for delays.

My credentials have been verified and I am in the State.
I was late to apply for CS as I didn't know space is limited.

i`m also late for cs...in fact i haven`t yet got my aceduling permit
can i apply for 2009 cycle and be eligible for 2009 match????sumone told me the earliest date i can get with 2009 cycle is nov 1st....any idea????
