I REALLY MESSED UP A DEPRESSION CASE ON MY TEST, what should i do exam and counsel wise

depression like symptoms can be present with so many other systemic conditions like THYROID DISORDER , ,RIGHT SIDED CEREBROVASCULAR ACCIDENT CAN GIVE APATHY SIMILAR TO DEPRESSION , also other conditions like drug withdrawal n medications like beta blocker,also in alzheimer where its combo of both dementia n depression , and chronic fatigue syndrome[6 month period of feeling fatigue with no associated positive findings. and the most common one DEPRESSION DUE TO UNERLYING STRESS .
keeping these things in mind
examination should include
MINI-MENTAL STAUS EXAMINATION
THYROID EXAMINATION
NEUROLOGICAL BRIEF EXAMINATION.

i can understand that this is very tough time on u ...based on ur histroy n examination,,It can be bcoz of that recent stressful event that u discussed with me ,,,but still i need to exclude some other causes ,foR that i ll check certain hormone levels n imaging study of ur brain . In case,WE R ABLE TO EXCLUDE THE CAUSES WITH THESE TESTS ,I CAN ARRANGE A SOCIAL WORKER FOR U ,TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO U IN THIS DIFFICULT TIME[esp if she does nt hav family or friend support].

also for counselling :
I understand Mr X what you going through.your symptoms could be due to depression which is a common disease caused by chemical imbalance forunately medications are available to treat it but should also be combined with counselling i can also refer you to a therapist is that ok with you.I also need to run a few tests just to help find out what the problem is ,we will meet again to discuss diagnosis and treatment ,in the mean time do you have any questions for me
