Hi all, It’s about time to start prep 4 my Step3. Can’t keep telling to myself that’s there is enough time, that I can do it later…. Well, I have a vague study schedule because I have a full time job. Sometimes I have to work on evenings and all weekends. So I am pretty busy. But who isn’t? What I know for sure is – I need to get exam results before applying for residency, it means before Sept 1st. So I must take exam no later than on August 1st. Regarding my study materials, here is what I have: Kaplan3 notes Kaplan 2CK notes and other Step2Ck materials (if needed) FA 3 Swanson Washington manual Plan to buy Ez pass step3 Plan to buy online Q banks, haven’t decided which one yet I have heard that Crush and Board are not good enough, and that Kaplan is outdated, so I didn’t buy Crush and BW for step3. I have Kaplan 3 because I like the way it is written. Wash manual is updated so I want to take impt data from Wash manual and read Kaplan for better understanding. FA is fine for CCS. And I have heard that this new book of Ez pass step3 is pretty good. I want to study subject by subject, Start with Washington manual chapter by chapter and read CCS in Kaplan and in FA. Swanson has good questions and explanations. I think that reasonable plan for me is to study 1-2 hours/week-day and 6 hours/weekends. I want to use my experience from my work, so I hope that I’ll be OK. I want to start next week. This week I gather study materials. I wish Good luck to myself. I also wish Good luck to anyone who is in the same boat. We can do it!

Made a plan. I take exam at the end of July, So I have 4 months for prep, it’s 16 weeks. Yesterday I made my schedule for each week and for each month, I think I will be OK. I am starting my prep today evening. I have study materials, keep downloading materials online. My schedule for this week: Wa manual is my guide book. This week I want to read first 3 chpts = 80pages from Wa manual, and corresponding chpts in Kaplan and FA3. As I can study only on evenings, and this particular week only until Thursday, I think that 80pages is enough.

my job keeps me busy but at least I read WA manual, do some CCS it's calming feeling, that I remember what I have learned for step2 it's fine that I can use my work experience. feel confident.
