Thanks to all the advice here . I am IMG from India . I studied 3 months for this test using kaplan notes , uw and first aid . Scored 790 on NBME one week before test . Thanks to all here !!

The reserach sh0ws that studying a longgg time is not the best way . I opted for shorter time with more intensity . I also work so I figure the longer I wait the worst I will do . Studies support this . I think if I had taken more time my score would fall.
I do not want to post a detail experience mainly because Ithink everyone here already knows what to do for the test ...

Also not everyone will get a 99 . I was gonna take whatever score I would get ...at least above 80 .. I just want primary care . I am an IMG . Things are harder now so even high score doesnt mean you will get competitive speciality .... things changing now //

SO PLEASE DO NOT WAIT FOREVER JUST TO GET A 99 . The us has more American grads and more Doctor of Osteoptahic grads along with THOUSANDS of AMERICAN CITIZENS studying in the caribbean ...its getting harder ... give it a few years and it will be very difficult for FMG .

Good ... you can def do it ! Less time means better study . More time means less intesnity and more likely to forget stuff ...

hi

didnt u use kaplan qbank ?

can u also suggest resources for neuro anat and molecular biology/genetics ?

i mean... will kaplan do or HY is best for reviewing for the exam in short time preps?

thnx in advance for ur suggestions.

Did not do Kaplan Qbank . Just did UW . More than eough for the test . Neuro - high yield and FA . Only questions I used was UW and that was PLENTY !!
You do not want to get burnt out and run out of gas before u take test .
Good luck ..less internet and more work ... wink
