Kaplan says: Elevated MS-AFP......next step in Mx is US to confirm dates......if dates are incorect repeat MS-AFP is pregnancy is still in 15-20 weeks window. My question is what do we do if we are beyond this window period?

Lets say dating error is found and real gestational age is 22 week. If so MS-AFP level cannot be said elevated for that gestational age. So nothing to proceed. hope this helps

Dating error leads to elevated MS AFP. Do an US to confirm the real AOG. I am talking from my own experience. You can not just do nothing in real situation. Proceed w/ US for you & your patient's peace of mind.
