Has anyone listened to goljan's lectures and wrtitten down his notes word for word,
I am used to doing this but its taking too much time,
If someone has written his notes, that is, written everything he says in his lectures,
I WOULD BE WILLING TO BUY THEM FROM YOU
Please anyone.
i really need them
My time is short and need notes like these , because its becoming very time consuming for me

Sam i dont think anyone has done. Not sure although for this particular thing you will have to search other forums or blogs or the net because honestly most people are looking for add-ons on a separate place.
So good luck on your quest and hope you find it and if you do then also post it here.

nothing else on my mind NNL.i would definitely like to post it here so that everone can benifit from it,however there is a problem.
i WROTE them down.there are three notebooks and i can't type all that stuff at least not until i'm done with my exam,ie. 7th april.....

this really helps if you just feel like reading goljan and not listenin to him. i personally think that his textbooks are a little too overwhelming sometimes. so i love reading his "audio notes" as he dumbs it down.

i started his word for word a long time ago but it took me too long so i quickly abandoned the idea. please pass this on to everyone

thanks wyb , your appreciation is appreciated do not feel like this is what got you to be confident, you have the willpower inside of you, we all get discouraged at times, even if its due to our lack or resources or our confusion with the vast quantity of the material we have. this is what the site is for-to help us get some clarity on what we should do, how we should do it, and what we should use.
hmm. about your question kalyann... its sort of comparing two different things here. his notes that he has made, that are organized into systemic and general are sort of like a textbook. it contains whatever he has said in his audio. it also gives us the doodles and point notes from the audience whose resource we got this from.
the audio word for word notes, are literally "word for word" from his audio. so they do not give us the headlines, the bold lining to know its a seperate point, etc.
they both have the same information, but the word for word gives u the nuts and bolts , maybe the linking wrds between one topic to the nxt. for me they just help reassure me that his audios aren't that overwhelming, and if i simply read what he says i realize its not that difficult.
whereas the notes goljan made himself , they are more organized.
this is a helpful suggestion.
read his word for word notes, lets say all of cell injury. get a feel for it, get comfortable.
then play his audio and use the notes he has made. hopefully it will be clearer to you. and you will feel like you are taking his class, with the notes he has handed to you, and listening to his voice. if you get confused, stop and read his word for word notes, to clarify yourself. and then continue the audio and his lecture notes.
this way, you hear his wonderful audio, and use his handmade notes.
but you have his word for word notes to clear yourself.
i think it is important to use an official document, whether it be his textbooks or the notes he has provided. just because i think that we all have a visual side, and if we see bold, if we see titles, we remember better like that. if we just use the word for word, it seems like a long drawn out story, we might not pay attention to certain things as much.

yes thats a very long story u made.............heheheheh ..just kidding
so wat i will do is just skim thru his notes , evry chapter in 30 min... get a feel of things...form a skeleton if the chapter and topics....
then looking at his word to word notes simulataneousli listen to his audios... just looking at word to word notes ... no writing down extra points in my goljan 500 pg notes.......as he recommends in his lectures....so will try to get all the concepts..... flow with his words in the audio,...and once a chapter is finished...
i will read onli 500 pg notes and prolly add extra points to it from word to word notes.rapidreview if i feeel i am not so good in that topic...
after all its a matter of getting the mechanism right.....not very minutae details...

perfect kalyann i agree about the not writing notes with goljan. when it comes to him, he literally writes it ALL DOWN.
someone once pointed out to me. that if i could just take an extra 5 minutes to learn the information, i would go further than rewriting the information to help it imprint in my brain. and its true. like when we have to read a novel, we sit there and get through it no matter how boring. we don't rewrite the novel to help us.

I really appreciate you posting these files. Dr. G is excellent and the correlations are great. I started reading RR Path but it got overwhelming after a while. The audio files and the transcribed notes are going to be my nirvana.
My plan is reading and listening to Dr. G notes and audio + First Aid + questions.
Any other recommendations?
Hopefully that does it.
