Kaplan Qbank USMLE

hi there

i was just wondering.. if the following is a good idea...

my sister has printed out all of the kaplan step 2 books for me.

now i have a lot to read, naturally.

right now i am doing IM, and my doctor stresses we read Harrisons manual of medicine, she does not accept any other books for us to quote from or read from.

I was wondering if this is a good idea.. if i take my harrison book and any notes that are missing, i add them into my kaplan book. and if harrison says something that kaplan has, i highlight it. or is that tedious?

the reason i think this is a good idea, is because daily we work on a specific disease and do the workup for it in class. now i will feel alot more confident if i have my kaplan IM notes sitting with me to refer to. and i was thinking i can write into that textbook, while in class.

originally i was going to write in a regular notebook and then read the notebook + kaplan notes. but i think that is too much for me.

is this a good idea??

i think writing my class discussion notes into my kaplan notes, is a def good idea.
but i am wondering if its stupid of me to use harrisons into my kaplan notes as well.

i know harrisons is def not study material, as it is in depth, but the pocket manual is amazing. its 1000 pages. and most diseases are about 2 pages long at most. and it sums it up. like it doesnt miss a beat.

someone please tell me asap. as i am worried i am going about this the wrong way.
