Thnx Guyton , I always like to organize Qs , uw the way u did is like I did kap but I did mass , so now will do small like u suggest , so easy to review & find things .

how does kaplan qbank differ from uw ?

revising can be done by simulating actual exam format , ie,
350 qs in 7 hrs in 6 consecutive days and reviewing the qquestions the rest of the day.
or it can also be done with onli wrong / incorrect . marked qs onli if less tie available.
kap q bank is ok to be done onli if u hav time on hand... the main point is doing some or the other q bank daili abt 100 qs til exam day. or til the star t of final 4 day read.

UW : min 100 qs ( do as many as psbl)
some tips
Yest'day revised some Ethics, - complete it today.
When i can't sit anymore....have some fun with path slides or some mnemonics and tips....then come back.

My AIM is to be able to answer the questions correctly, it doesnt matter what/howmany book(s) i read !
It doesnt matter howmany times i read and revise, ultimately only one thing counts...whether i answered the qn or not !
I should keep my eyes open,
I will just have to be vigilant.
Questions, questions, questions, questions..............just keep on doing the qs, take the feedback, learn those facts !
do the qns, know the wk areas, study them !
again, and again.....repeat this !

Hey guyton,
I thought of posting here before but dint do.
I too started my 3rd reading systemwise.But couldn't complete it.i dint retain much from my readings.My uw score is hanging around 52-54.How can I improve my scores.Can you suggest me on that?My exam is around 25th of april.
Your avatar is really inspiring.I din't pay much attention to it.I thought it's cat in the mirror.

Hi anshu,
when u do uw q, u will be having incorrect ones and marked ones.
so, focus on them. Review them on a regular basis.
Importantly, if it is something neglected while reading or falied to understand properly ..then take your time now to understand it.
If it is something new or high yield..note it down parallel to that topic.
Once you are done with reviewing these qns, its time to read/review those topics in the material.
Like wise,find out the weak areas, - read them, understand them, revise them..not just once, but until u get them right in subsequent tests !
Reading is already done, rentention ...comes through revision and other various means including doing the qs.
Do not stop doing qs,keep on doing them daily in bulk. You may want to use it for learning too, if u haven't done qs in previous readings.
Revising the weak areas and high yield topics is the important thing here.

Yest'day ..i put here some list of topics to be read ..didnt complete them
I think i should first complete this genetics.
still doing it.
I read them longback, so yest;day just revised them and did some qs.
tempted to read HY Cell and molecular biology ....but stopped the urge to read it, and decided to use it just for reference. .....conviencing !
yes, now my reference starts.....i was searching for Robertosinian translocation ..explanation in it..i couldnt find. So...realized that no other books are necessary, everything is there in books what i read.
This population genetics, cytogenetics.......damn....must have a pen and paper and do all those examples on our own ..even twice, that way a lot gets in to brain, than merely reading it.
thats what have been doing.
