Hello guys

This year match is known to be very competative. I just think is it probable to match without step3 taken?

Please share your opinion.

( Step1 92, step2 87, spte2 cs passed, some observership, green card holder, publication, 1 year of grad school in usa university)

What are my chances?

Your chances are good. nod

But why don't you get rid of step 3 already?

offcourse there is a chance!! step 3 is not a must!! it is a plus! I am taking step 3 just after the match only because I want to be over with it but not because I need it to match, it is not important to match maybe to get interviews but at this point only if you need H1B it would help, since you don't need it just do it to forget about it not because you think it would help to get a better match or match, because it won't help much or at all. Good luck! nod

Absolutely Yes

You can take step 3 during your 1st year residency, program may pay for the fee.

Thank you for support and sharing your opinion.

I am a little scared cause i saw that many programs that calimed not to oofer prematch are left with just a few positions, so i think this positions could be left for AMG.

I also prepare for scrable . do you think there is chance for me to get it?
