thanks for the kind replay. The weired thing my feedback about this program , they only like AMG and they never gonna put me in the rank list and I completely forget about them!! that's why i do not trust this email so much

You have excellent chances man , so you applying in obgyn , IM, psych, family I guess all psychiatry programs need applicants like you who are so commited to psychiatry. All the best--- God bless you.

Thanks Piaget for the comment the problem I have very low score and old grad that's why I applied to many programs and I only got this interview in Psychiatry that's why i do not know if this email right or wrong and want to make sure the program doesn not mass email everybody

haha its funny just curiosity zeec, what did u answer when they asked u "why psych?" they know that generally IMGs choose psych as a 2nd choice. u can read that in the magazine "Academic Psychiatry" however its funny that they cant tell who is more interested according to the interview, or they might see other things not just if u are "truly interested or not" i remember in my IV other IMGs, old graduates, attendings in their countries in specialties other than psych. common denominator: any of them needed visas. so that might be in their ranking criteria, unfortunately for people who need visas again, take these in a cool way. If I were u I would answer back saying that u were impressed as well, that u would be delighted to work with them, blablabla...but DONT LET THAT TO CHANGE YOUR ROL.

The other option is go back to my country india and stay with my family and forget about american dream!! which I do not mind by the way howver I just want to have fare chance in the match

I did not receive any letter from U of Louisville. They must have meant it when they said that they sent it only for a selected few

yes zeeec I too didnt receive any letter infact I didnt e mail Thank you letter to them I dont like tht program Its in Low choice in my ROL
