Yeeeeeee... Baaney unnayi kadaaaa

I felt them a bit cheeky but they orient me well... i get to know how a q can be asked on such topic... I am happy i spent 900 rs on it and its worth it....

I am doign patho like this:

First Quick Read of Rapid Review in abt 2 hrs per chapter

Then close the book and 15 min of contemplation of whats in that chapter.. just the skeleton. and if possible few imp HY details tooo..

Then Goljan Audios. I just listen.. and do nothing.. I do have his word to word notes in front of me printed and stapled chapterwise so that i can look into it if i cudnt follow somewer during the lecture

Then 10 min rest

Then Take RR and Just Do It... Sit for 2 hrs more to complete the chapter and thats it....

Daily 2 chapters from RR.

Rest of the time Other Subs... And yeah i do combine Patho with Physio Reading....

Oka debbaku rendu pittalu....

And the Qs i kinda get 55-60 % correct.... So improving still.....

And seee when u go wrong on a question....forget abt the scores... think positive that u had the chance to make that mistake during ur prep which prepares u not to do that again in ur exam... so dont worry abt the scores... care a damn to them during UW or Kaplan......

Just Just Just concentrate on learning from mistakes....And u will ace it with ur hardwork.

My dear friend ,doc4,

Forgive Yourself :

We all make mistakes in life, however, different people deal with their mistakes in different ways.

Many people try hard to avoid mistakes but in fact, mistakes can often lead to valuable learning experiences if you approach them in the right way.

Here is a simple 3 step approach for dealing with mistakes.

Step 1: Admit that you made a mistake

First admit you made a mistake to yourself. Then, if there is someone else involved, admit you made a mistake to them and apologise. The words, "I made a mistake and I'm sorry" are a great first step to resolving a conflict.

Denying that you made a mistake does not solve anything and simply prolongs the negative energy associated with the situation.

Step 2: Identify the lesson that comes with your mistake

The good news is that every mistake comes with a built in lesson that can help you improve your life in the future. To find your hidden lesson ask yourself, "What can I learn from this situation?"

By finding the hidden lesson within your mistake, you immediately transform the situation from a negative experience to a useful learning experience.

Step 3: Forgive yourself and let it go

All too often we dwell on our mistakes and continue to beat ourselves up over what happened. Once you have admitted your mistake and identified the lesson it carries, let go of the mistake, forgive yourself and move on. If a similar situation arises in the future, you are now better prepared to choose the right course of action.

Advice :

Next time you make a mistake, try this simple three step approach and see for yourself how it can transform a mistake into a useful learning experience.

Overcome Self Sabotage:

One of the biggest obstacles on the road to success is self sabotage.

Self sabotage occurs when you know what you want to achieve but for some reason, you act in a way that moves you away from your goal instead of towards it.

The secret to eliminating self sabotage is to understand this important fact:

Self sabotage occurs when a short term craving overrides your long term desire to achieve your dream.

Imagine that you are standing between two large magnets. On one side is your dream, and on the other is a temptation that leads to self sabotage.

In order to resist the attraction of the short term temptation and avoid self sabotage, you need to increase the pulling power of your dream.

Here are 10 ways to strengthen your dream in order to combat self sabotage:

(1) Place a picture of your dream on the ceiling above your bed so that you see it every morning and every evening before you go to sleep.

(2) Place a picture of your dream on the back of your bathroom door.

(3) Carry a picture of your dream in your wallet or purse.

(4) Place a picture of your dream wherever you are most likely to be tempted. For example, place a picture of your dress on the fridge door.

(5) Use the power of public pressure and tell people about your dream. The more you talk about it to others, the stronger your dream becomes.

(6) Hook up with a 'dream buddy' - Team up with someone who shares your dream and make a commitment to each other to make your dream a reality.

(7) Join a support group - Find an online support group and work with others to create an encouraging and supportive atmosphere.

(8) Keep a journal - Record your experiences in a journal or a blog. The more you write, the stronger your dream becomes.

(9) Associate your dream with a song that you find particularly inspirational. When you are tempted to give in to temptation, listen to your song to rekindle your passion for your dream.

(10) When you're face-to-face with temptation, ask yourself what you really want. For example, "What do I want more, this cake or to fit into my new dress?"

As you can see, all these techniques are ways to increase your level of focus on your desired outcome. The more you focus on your dream, the stronger it becomes. And the stronger the pull of your dream, the less likely you'll be to succumb to self sabotage.

Advice :

(1) Understand that self sabotage occurs not because you are weak, but rather, because your dream is weak.

(2) Take action and use the techniques listed above to strengthen the pulling power of your dream in order to avoid self sabotage.
How To Avoid Being Overwhelmed
When you are working towards your major goals, it is easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer number of things you need to do in order to achieve your objectives.

One of the best ways to avoid becoming overwhelmed is to start each day by reviewing your goals and asking this simple but powerful question:

For each of your goals, the answer to this question must be a single action step. Wherever you are in the process of achieving a particular goal, the next step is the only one that really matters.

For example, imagine that your three major goals were:

(1) Lose 20 lbs
(2) Get a Promotion
(3) Find your life partner

When you consider each of these goals you can probably come up with a long list of things you would need to do to achieve each goal. For example:

When all of these 'To Do' items are swimming around in your head at the same time it is easy to become stressed and overwhelmed.

If on the other hand, you review your goals and ask, "What is the Next Step?" you will come up with a single action point for each of your goals. For example:

You can then combine these 'Next Steps' to create your daily to do list:

In this way you will be progressively working towards achieving your most important life goals without becoming overwhelmed.

Advice:

(1) Review your goals.

(2) For each of your goals, ask yourself the question, "What is the Next Step?"

(3) Stop trying to mentally juggle everything you need to get done and focus entirely on your 'next steps' until they are complete.

So ,

Here is a fantastic video that really illustrates what stepping out of your comfort zone is all about! Think about your most important life goals and make the decision to reach beyond your limitations to be all that you can be.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k08yxu57NA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpBm4KoWsrY

And so finally,

(1) Whatever your most important life goal is at the moment, make the decision to commit yourself to making your dream a reality.

(2) Focus on the outcome you want to achieve and block out all distractions and thoughts of failure. The Desire to achieve a 99 on step 1 should be greater than the Fear of Failure to get 99.

(3) When you work on your goal, work at a high intensity and build momentum to get the job done.

(4) Failure is not an option.

(5) Stop Spending TIme and Energy worrying about what others might be thinking about you and your plans.

(6) Let no feeling of discouragement prey up on u and in the end u r sure to suucceed.

(7) Believe in yourself and there will be a day when others have no chance to believe with you.

(8) Obstacles will appear but DONT GIVE UP.

And Remember ,

Dont let somebody tell u , u cant do something...

People Cant do it themselves and they tell u, u cant do it...

You gotta DREAM.

You gotta PROTECT IT.

You want something .................... GO GET IT.

Period

Dream the Impossible

Set your goals with Dauntless Resolution

Put into action your Unconquerable Faith

And u will achieve the so-called I'm-possible.

Nothing is Impossible.

Impossible is nothing.

So.... My diary secrets abt the 7 ingredients for success:

1. Passion & Desire to get 99 ( How badly u want it )

2. Immense Focus & High Intensity through out the study periods , thereby maximising whatever time we spend studying.

3. Patience, Perseverance & Persistence ( There will be failures / There will be set-backs / There will be obstacles ...Its all abt how u react to them , that will decide whether and when u will reach ur goal.)

Happy studying.
