CK was not as amusing as step 1, which was straightforward with nice short question stems, but it was ok. They were like another blocks of uw. Questions were not too long, they were not tricky, with typical presentations, but answers not being very clear.
It's weird that I was bored and sleepy all through the day though I'm usually an overly alert person during exams. I slept very well the night before but the exam day was really long and sleepy. Felt like I was dreaming.
I had 3 media exhibits, all of them were heart sounds, found it hard to recognize what murmur those were (I'm bad with murmurs), just answered them according to what I read from the stem.
Again, the exam is very rational, as once 'arlete' said "horses, horses, and horses", though it's NOT EASY to pick the right answer confidently! Got to suppress my thought about the score preparing for CS.

myself having the same feeling after exam...i took exam on same day..
i found that in exam the long q r compensated with 2-3 liner q....
i had two audio video q in exam n i was not able to identify ans from either q stem or after listening murmurs.
anyways gl for ur score....

HILFIGER, yes, of course I did, but I have NO idea how many questions there were and what they were about. I think my memory's all mixed up with practice questions, sorrrrry.

GOOD LUCK...my exam this month though i scored 99 in my step 1..i am apprehensive about step 2..i feel i am very weak in next step management kind question...how do did u feel about such question

RX 135, such a sure thing that a step 1 99er could feel bad about step 2, because they test different knowledges. I usually felt not very sure when asked about the next best step, so I followed my instinct and it used to be more often right than wrong.....errr must be not very helpful for you.

Dear All,
I am a new member and I used to watch others experience about the exam. I took step2 ck on Jan 31 and I am in agree with other friends who took in the same day. But for me some questions were so challenging that you could not comfortably pick one answer. some times they put opposite information inside one question which made it hard to choose one BEST ANSWER!!
I hope I can get a good score.

i agree with bob1975...
what i did in such q that ticked ans a/c to chief complain as the past history or family history were making me confused btw given options in ans...so i bravely picked ans a/c to c/o...now lets see what happen with my result..

I guess you did the right thing bax. Also Dr. Fischer once said individual presentation is more important than history or risk factors. Didn't he.

Just got the score. It's 248/99. Since I was sleepy and guessed alot on the exam day, I was not sure about my performance. Happy with this score. Maybe I was lucky. Thanks everybody!

smalley, in the country where I came from (S. Korea), doctors recommended mksap and nms quite strongly, so I bought them, planned to work on them, but could not due to my slow progress and lack of time. I did only few questions from them, those were good. It'd be great if you can study the Qs thoroughly if you have time after completing uw.
