CIS-is Communication Interpersonal Skills.CIS checks how u interact with pt-Starting from knock on door,introducing urself,addressing the pt with his/her last name, looking after comfort of pt, showing sympathy,helping pt lay down or get up,draping,washing hands,counceling etc.If ur not confident with this- u can think of attending c3ny workshop.

How one can show Empathy...Do we have to have some kind of a sorry face...or just to say "sorry to hear that Mr Jones"

BUT, showing EMPATHY is the key I guess.

Man, if you start grimaсing sorry face, it will be not natural and will be a key to failure. Try to be convincing and make sp believe that you take his problems to your soul. If you ketch yourself on a feeling that you forget that you are on the exam but rather doing your routine office stuff, you succeeded... The sp should show you that him is comfortable with you...
