Today I did not study that much ,I spent some tiem hanging out with my family.
I just did a block of UW and scored 46 % . I did read the explanations
Time to sleep now , I am so tired

thanks so much lost in usa...yes Im enjoying right now..and am feelling the joy of my matching just after my step3....it will be completely ovrer once i get my result...am very hopeful. Praying hard.
Dear Ivonne, before passing this test I am in no position give aadvise on material or anything...Im really sorry but am not in a good position advise right now..hope u understand...all I can say is that doing quest alot will help most..and doing them fast will help more as time management is an issue in step3..the fastewr u are the better u perform. I wish you the very best.

If docnikki says she is not at the best position for tutoring after she recently took the test , I guess that make me the last person here to be giving advice since I am just studying like you .Nevertheless , I can tell you that most people in this forum recommend
Kaplan CK notes , UW and Kaplan q BANKS ,FA step 3 or Crush .step 123 for CCS and Swanson Family practice questions and some books for reference like the Washington manual or CMDT if you have time . That s what I am using right now but I recently found out what nikki mentioned above . Step 3 is a very clinical and hospital based exam , it suppose to be for RESIDENTS, some informations don t even come between the lines , so that s why you MUST do a lot of questions to be familiar to the high yield materials and for time management .
It s just my 2 cents , like I told you before , this is what I get from those seniors around here  .

so sweet of you doc C..i will come here from time to time and watch on your progress too. Please maintain it as it encouraged me and will encourage many others...Im sure you'll do very well. By the way how is your back ache...I hope you prepare yourself for the 2 day exam physically too so that you can do your best

I did 50 qs today and scored 50% , now it s time to read them explanations and some CK notes . 5 CCS later .............

I think I should read ck notes as everyone else. step 3 notes are not so good. or may be the format is a bit different. I will start IM notes today. and will try to finish them as fast as possible.

I just did 2 blocks of UW since yday. got 70 and 65.when my son is not around i can score good too.
today i will do two more blocks. although half of the day is already gone but still I can do some.

Waoo , 65 and 70 ... that sounds so great , I am barely scoring 60s , since when did you start studying ?. I think you will be ready pretty soon for the exam .

Hi dr.clotaire.
the good score is only if i do ALL questions.so some qs are repeated and i score better. that means almost nothing. when i do unused then i score 60 or 62. I gavemy ck in last july . I followed your journal for ck too. since then I have been reading off and on from wash manual during my externship. I think that helped.
my exam is on 19 and 23 june. so I need a real quick brush up. doing q book and uw for now.
today i did second two tests of IM from q book. and will try to do one block from uw.
how about you? are u doing ccs cases simultaneously?

Anyway, 60s is not a bad score in UW considering that those questions are no JOKE . I am doing some cases of CCS sometimes but I am not too compliant with my CCS .
Today , I did a block of UW , I will try to read CCS later .
Let s keep up with the last job buddy

Hi Hawaiii,
I got it because the centre is closed in between these days. its actually 18 and 23. there was no available opening in between them. why is it wrong to get a date like this. I thought it will help to have a gap between two days.

Hi all.
yday was not a good day. I could not study but I will study today.
dr.clotaire as long as you understand the concept and can know teh facts the score is just for ur own self you know. I know how bad it feels with low score but still you are doing consistently. have you tried qbook? I am doing that and the questions are a bit easier but the explanations are good. may be you can do that too if u didnot do it already.

wow Doc C and Doc 08, you both are doing great!.
Doc C dont worry about UW scores, they are aweful questions and not even close to exam type questions. You will realize once u see the exam. But its good to go over them but dont worry about scores as far as you learn from those questions
I yet didn't get my result so I am in no position to advise as yet but I am close to this diary so keep coming to see you guys. I just reached India and am waiting for my result.
