Hi again guys !
I just took CS in january 28 th and it was not bad . Regardless of the result , it s time to get busy and start studying for step 3 . I took CK in july 2008 , so I guess I still have some fresh info in my mind , just need to get the concept of step 3 and stenghen my CK knowlegde .
Today , I will start with CARDIO FA , Step3 DVD and CK notes
Anyone is WELCOME to write in here as usual

Are u doing step 3cardio Dvd'S... how do u find them?i am just thinking to buy DVD s for step 3.

Neuroblastoma : Yes I am listenning to the DVDs , as a matter of fact , I already did them back in CK so I am pretty familiar to them . They are pretty good , I would say go for it
Sprint : what 's up buddy ? Good to have you aboard . I remember our CK prep man , we had fun studying togerther . I hope it will be the same for step3 . By the way , When do you plan on taking the exam ? Seems like you have been preparing for a while . Any wise advice for me please?

I took a quick view of my Ck notes . It seems like I started to forget cardio man . That s crazy . Once you don t keep doing those stuff , they are gone .
Gotta stick to my books man

Hey clotaire..I am next to the worst person on earth to ask for advice for step 3. My prep is not as intense as it was for other steps..However, there were many traveling, masters work, thesis etc..etc....My sincere suggestion to you is take step 3 as serious as other steps..Don't make yourself of the 75 percentile mark..that will definitely keep you going..

nice to see you doc clotaire....I missed you so much in my step 3 prep..after my sad result ( I missed it with very few points..its very very frustrating!)...I was totally shattered as i never failed before..though I admit that I didnt do justice with time..as I was travelling alot anad doing 2 observerships...also traveled back home for some weeks which was a big break!...
after taking the test once I have one advise for all that its not hard but because we are busy with many things we tend to focus less and then this happens....
I am back to my step 3 prep anad this time Im doing the same hard work as I did in CK because Im not tensed for interviews now ...though I will be doing observership too..but thats not worse than attending interviews. I plan to do my best anad pass this time. If you don't mind I will write in your journal sometimes my progress and read yours for motivation and to keep myself going.
I am readaing CVS too and will do that from kaplan Ck notes, UW ck notes and washinton manaual. ( its huge)

Today I read Emergency medicine from FA . I did some question from Q bank stepo 3 and it as not so bad . Let s see what s gonna happen -

Thanks for you advice sprint . From Nikki and other people s experience , I will try to do my best to take it as serious as other steps .
Just read hematology in Washington Manual and FA .
Did some question in Q bank ....not bad though

Today , I read GI and Ethics in FA . I also read GI in whashington manual , this book is very concise and I like it .

Hi Doc clotaire, I am back from my last interview and Now am finally done with interviews.
came directly to your journal as here i see life and spirit. Youre doing so good reading in one day one system. Im soon going to join Kaplan q bank.. Tomorrow i will go and buy FA and will do that along with washinton manual.
aren't you going through ck notes along with washinton manual and FA for the systems? I know it becomes huge...I always felt bored in reading Ck notes but guess what...we think we remember but we don't!
My journey to my interview was so tiring that i didnt read on the way...so I am exactly where I was before leaving. So I will continue doing CVS ( from washinton manual ) today.

I am glad that you are done with IV nikki . I hope you get the program that you want in a good hospital . As for me , I decided to go to 09 match since I was running out of time . I will focus on improving my resume with step 3 and some observership in the meantime .
Well , I am doing Ck notes along with step 3 DVS , Fa along with the manual and lastly I am answering the Kaplan Q bank .
Today I did some questions and it was ok . I also finish Fischer cardio DVDS
Neuroblastoma : Practice a lot those FA and UW cases togerther . Those 2 covered all cases from my exam . The key is PRACTICE , PRACTICE . GL buddy

I know Nikki , that s the most extented chapter in the whole manual . That can tell us how important it is to hammer CVS for the exam .
Well , Today I did hematology and oncology in FA
I also did some questions in Kaplan step 3 . Man , they are long !
Let s keep on moving young lady

Yup! good going Doc_clotaire. To tell you honestly the real exam questions weren't long..they were short and most of them ended without scrolling down. so if you are comfortable with kaplan q bank length you will fine the real ones really good. I too am going to work on kaplan this time 
keep going doc, I like your steadiness alot!!
I will write what I covered after substantailly coverning..to feel good after writing )

I will finish endocrinology today . I did not have time to watch the DVDs , I think I am pretty familiar to the that subject .No need to watch them ..At least that what I think .

Almost the same as you but not step123 though . How is it ? Do you recommend it ?
I don t know yet when I will give my exam simply because I don t know if I will pass Cs or not . So once I got my Cs score , I will know what s up ? In the meantime , I am looking forward to get my knowlegde fresh for whatever .
