guys count me in.i am going into the match too with a list of 6.i have positive feedback from my first two choices, but so do so many other people who interviewed there,so i dont know what to make of it.
two other programs I interviewed in have given away all their spots as prematchessad i was glad i declined the prematch then, but now i am confused and rolling eyesbut still think match is the way to go.
all we can do is pray and hope for the best!GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US.

I've heard of people matching after getting no replies from a program and heard of people not matching after hearing many replies from a program.

In the end the truth is indeed revealed on match day.

You guys have all been great! (except for a few odd ducks here and there..)

hi

i was going thru that section on the nrmp website where they give info abt the impact of rol length.........they hav a table for the last 10 yrs.......it shows that progs which match successfully have an avg of almost 10 ranks per position........what does that mean?......they rank 10 ppl for 1 position???........so if they hav 20 postions they rank 200 ?????shocked??........or does it mean something totally different?........cud someone shed some light?.......thanx

busybee,

I think you got it right, I heard that programs rank almost all of their interviewees....And most of the programs invite in a ratio 10-15 to 1 (ie.200-300 interviews for 20 positions...)
