My friend got 68% in step1. Does re-writing step1 have any influence on residency match or interview problems?
Please advice,as my friend feels if it has an influence he would rather forget about usmle, and work for regional exam (India). I am very sure if we writes the exam second time he will score above 90%. Please advice.

there are doctors who failed exams several times, so if you want to be a doctor, you will keep trying

sry to hear abt ur frnd..but let me tel u sumthin..all of us here to pass steps..thr r ppl who have taken step 1 more than once n have cleared it ..u can read thr experinces in the forum here...
