came back, i screwed it up, it was not hard, but i didnt manage my time, i never heard it ever happened to anyone before, my daytime was over 20 minutes before my last block was over,
[font size="2"]in every break, sign in, sign out protocol, took long time, shouldnt have the longest 30 min break during lunch, first block, i was tensed, so took break, thought 5 min, was 10 min, rest room was far away, anyway, thats me, they don’t let u take even analog watch anymore, I had hyper bladder activity, went to bathroom after each block, after 4th block took 30 min break, came back and saw it was showing 2 hour 43 min left, and I had 3 hours exam, 3 blocks, so, I rushed all 3, about 25 questions, did gambling, answered all C.
anatomy had some from previous knowledge, immuno many,
Patho, mixed with others, not too tough
biochemistry, a lot from amino acid metabolism,
viral was bad, asked too many questions. i am not organized right now, just wanted say, if i could get chance, i would go back to my first day of preparation, do
1. watch video of physio kaplan, biochemistry, pharma first 2 chapters only, and behavioral science
2. read books one time
3. read physio, pharma first 2 chapters, molecular biology and genetics one more time.
4. buy uw, 2 months for one time, and read thorough, all concept, another month to read wrong questions.
5. read fa, one time. i liked even its physiology part, and respiratory and cardio part of pathology, also some renal diseases. i liked anatomy, pharma, micro totally, i added stuff in micro and pharma, if it wasnt there i couldnt take the test, because i couldnt grasp anything from reading kaplan 3 times. i wasted time, i feel, not everyone will agree with that.
and questions, practicing questions is very very important.
6. take nbme, may be practice some kaplan questions.
i like this forum best, everything is organized, and everyone is nice, no one mean here. mental support, you cant avoid, only thing is, since its divided into so many pages, you get your answer late, not fast. i like all the cool stuff you can use here. and all the great people here.

i screwed it up, but the exam was not that tough. i accepted that there will be tough questions, and i will not be afraid, for me killer was time. i couldnt manage it. may be reveiwing first aid more, would have helped me.

We're all keeping our fingers crossed for your score! The most important thing now is, it's over!
And hey, if you have to retake it, it's not the end of the world!
But at the moment, try not to get down on yourself, you have to wait 3 weeks to know for sure, so try to concentrate on something else!

Good luck for ur result.we all know u had very tough time with ur preparation.but good thing u r done with it and u dont have to read anymore.isnt it cool??
well i have to ask many questions from u.it seems usmle is now more concern about ANATOMY and related,they are emphasizing more on it.and u said too "ANAT from previous knowledge."what u say?kaplan and high yields Anatomy stuff is no more sufficient?shud we have to concentrate on it more?
i read here on in other experience and and he also mentioned that "in anatomy,embryo and histo my school learning helped me."
please people clear this issue i hv in my mind and for others too.

and start afresh for step 2

you are right it was a courageous thing, from now on i will train myself to think positive always and just leave it in Gods hand. you all have good positive attitude, and its really important to have positive attitude.
jerker, i didnt read high yeild so cant comment, anatomy was too lengthy, i didnt go through everything of thorax and abdomen of anatomy, so, i dont know many stuff. there were many questions in thorax and abdomen area.i . only one mri, i couldnt figure, what are they asking, other mri was easy. embryo was not tough,

1st at all Congratulation , u have ur test done , all 7 block even short of time .
Relax for sure this wk end then , Monday coming wk keep occupied with some st 2 read in Int Med to keep ur mind away fr st 1 or get vacation 1 wk from studying by b away or out daily have fun or simply b couch potato or decorating , arranging house , books re organized etc .
But do pray , we will too for ur best score , but.......... as all already said all from pray, to relax, to think the worst .. that is not end of the world , b positive [ said by u too , that's really good ] .
Do pm me if need to vent, say more , any time AD .
ur welcome , here we r all here .. to support , help, care , study , share care up down emotion , study , fm, personal etc life of family life here .
