What happens when you get use to UW, and then you see other questions:
1- You have the tendency to try to highlight what your reading.
2- When you see a question anywere you feel frustated or angry because who ever answer the question did not explain it in detail an you need to look in your books
3-You are suprise the questions are to easy.
4-You notice that you are able to see the trick and distrators in the questions and in your head you are just they are so lame the USMLE will never ask that, or that is to obious.
5-If you read your book, you become a critic of the book and start writing the other important stuff that are not in the book that you learn from UW or just start to highlight the stuff that you say, I had a question about that or they enfasays that.
Then you relise all the suferment you had in UW has actually pay of.
I know this sounds like me promoting the product, but this is how I personally feel about it.
If you have other ones or want to share your experience please reply.
And no Im not that crazy, I think the GLOS syndrome may come, my test is coming up OMG OMG OMG OMG, maybe feb or march.My people kow what is GLOS syndrome

Hello Gogeta,
I have exactly those symptoms that u have told in pts 1-4, but I didnt understand the 5th point could u please explain? What do u think of it? I mean will it help us to solve the main exam questions with that ease or we will need be surprised by the content of the exam??? Plz reply early.... my exam is in 2 wks from now...

I have not taken the test yet, step2ck thst is,If you were asking about step1 then I would be able to say yes. In the sense that it each you the main concepts and how to think for the exam, and the questions in the exam that are easy will be more easy for you.
About the 5 point
You read the material and then you start doing questions, when you start doing questions after you have prepare yourself, yuo will benefit more from the questions.
Then you do a second reading of the material and you will be able to notice what they enphasize, also you will remember important information that might not be in your book but because you learn it from the question you will write it in your book.
For what most people have told me, if you use kaplan and secrets and you use UW and you were able to gasp the concepts in their qbank then you will defenetly pass the exam.
Again that is for step2ck what people have told me in general.
for step1, I will say that mainoly because of the question bank in UW I was able to passed the test.

this is how i exactly felt after the UW..
i have jotted down so many things...
also know when i solve the kaplan Q book.... i say to myself "wat fools to ask such a stupid question!!!!"

Agree completely, GOGETA.
UW is a must for step 2 CK and makes you feel very secure during the test.
