hi!1 can anyone tell me what the resting membrane potential is some books give -70 and some -90mv. which is correct. and what eqilibrium value should we use for Na, K and Cl on the exam . Thanx.

equilibrium value differs as it reflects the concentration force in other words nernst equation converts the conc force into millivolts to conclude the net force after comparing it with electric force" membrane potential" or Em hope this helps also dont bother ur self with the numbers the concept is what will be tested on the exam
