Hi bbb,

I have one question for you. I am working in a prestigious university and my boss is ready to put in a strong word for me to the PDs. He asked me how I want to go about that Phone or Email? He said he can do anything...but also said that his vote is for Email...as Phone may little too much. I want to ask you which method you think will be the best to talk to PD.

What I was thinking may be to the Email, the PD doesnt pay that attention.

Please let me know.

Thanks for your time and concern.

If you have the email address of the PD, use it. Phone calls usually don't get past me.

E-mail, they usually read it, but do make the subject stand so that the PD knows is from a candidate that was interviewed and not just from a random applicant, this has worked for me and I have received repplies from all the PD's I have written to.
